Here is a very sweet article about Mr. Rogers.

4 Stars, I’m thinking. I would definitely recommend this movie if you’re looking for something a little different.

My favorite, favorite actor in this movie is Emma Thompson. SUCH good acting on her part – I loved it.
I’m still puzzled over the choice of Queen Latifah – love her, but her character in this movie didn’t even seem needed. I got the feeling someone owed her and just stuck her in the next random movie they had coming out.
And the Sonic guys?! They should have a cameo in, like, every movie.
Evren just got in trouble, and this was his response to me…
(exact quote – with this kid I don’t have to make anything up)
“I did NOT hit Ayla in the head with my hammer!! I hit Ayla in the head with THIS bottle!!”
Maybe someecards will have just the right sentiment.

When you care enough to hit send.

I don’t want a single comment comparing this to my pineapple-zucchini bread (because I know that’s your first thought, so just shut it, it was GOOD) but here … here’s a recipe I will NOT be making. We love our broccoli around here (well, Evren and I do anyway) but this is taking it a little too far with the broccoli love.

We were at Blockbuster the other night and the kids were trying to pick a movie and Evren wanted, wanted, wanted to get this one.

Why this one?
“Because I LOVE crushed cars!”
We didn’t get that one, but he did carry it around for awhile.

Although I could stare at Hugh Grant all day, this movie was corny. Maybe 3 Stars.
I was cleaning the bathrooms today while Evren followed me around in complete fascination. I put the toilet bowl cleaner in and he says…
“Mom. Is that the cleaner that kills 99% of all germs?”
