Last month, she began abusing our melons. Beating them, really. As a result, we have tasted marked improvement. 

I should try that!  I normally just cut the whole thing up and let it sit in the fridge for days until it finally gets juicy.

The Cambridge Women’s Pornography Cooperative asked women, young, old, rich, and poor, “What really, really gets you hot?” Armed with their findings, they worked day and night to create Porn for Women. Susan Anderson is a Los Angeles-based photographer who believes the future of porn shouldn’t be in the hands of men alone.

Evren:  “The tooth fairy isn’t here, it’s just in our imagination.”

Jenn:  (completely stunned)  “AYLA!!!!”

… after a thorough interrogation, I was convinced it wasn’t her …

Jenn: “Hey buddy, come here.  Tell Mommy…who told you the tooth fairy was just in our imagination?”

Evren:  “Jack.”

Jenn:  “Um, Jack, your pretend friend?”   (he has 4 loyal and faithful imaginary friends named Anchovie, Tanchovie, Jack & Tanjack)

Evren:  “Yes.”

Jenn:  “So, let me get this straight.  Your imaginary friend told you that the Tooth Fairy was in our imagination?”

Evren:  “Exactly.”

As the Nancyland blog clearly shows, in real, undoctored photos, marshmallows are grown and harvested just like corn, coffee, or oranges. Though a lot of people might not realize that marshmallows, in their natural form, are as big as a Nissan Sentra. Nancyland has several pics of a farmer taking the giant marshmallows and placing them in a truck, where they will be taken to a facility and made smaller for consumption in hot chocolate, cereals, and the ends of sticks over a campfire.

#52 On My List

Earlier this summer we went fruit picking. It was an all day affair and we went to a blackberry field and a peach orchard and came home with a trunk full of fruit. It was totally worth it – the kids had a great day.

OK, yeah, this one was a bit staged. I need to teach my kids the finer points of acting natural.

Then, after all that, this was the highlight of their day.

After eating as many fresh ones as we could, we turned some of the blackberries into homemade blackberry ice cream. I still have a lot left in the freezer though. Maybe a cobbler or pie?

The peaches are in the freezer waiting to be turned into a cobbler. My good friend, Betty Crocker, sent me an e-mail the other day with recipes for peach cobblers, so I’ll do that soon.
