Gingerbread Crazy

We are in full on holiday spirit around here. To kick off the season we went to a Gingerbread House Decorating Workshop.

Oh yes I did….I paid money to have the mess made at a remote location that was not at my house. Definitely money well spent. The kids absolutely loved every second of it and were so happy with their gingerbread houses.

Pretending like they are reading instructions, when they could really care less.

Seriously? With the waiting?

So beautiful!! And every time I walk into the kitchen and smell these I crave cookies.

Then, later that week we went to a Winter Holiday Party. I didn’t get too many photos, but I did snap these of Evren ‘decorating’ his Christmas tree with green icing and candy. And you know, it goes perfectly with our gingerbread houses on the kitchen counter!

This morning I took Evren to a cooking class where they got to make gingerbread dough, decorate gingerbread cookies and make a hot cocoa mix to give as a gift.
