My absolutely wonderful 83-year old grandfather married his adorably sweet 73-year old bride this weekend and they have big plans to make the most of every day, travel and enjoy life.
The church was packed, the reception was packed, we ate most of that cake and drank gallons of punch. Unbelievable. Wonderful. Amazing. They were giggly all day like a couple of teenagers.
Oh, by the way, the preacher is turned away because he just realized his cell phone was on–and so was the groom’s! Everyone had a good laugh and broke the tension.
Then this morning in church the bride’s cell phone went off! (Yes, they went to church this morning–then off for a 3-day honeymoon!)
I have lost my sense of urgency. Did I leave it at home? <--- Jenn tweets 14 hours ago
