These are the cookies I took to the cookie exchange this year. After which, we went caroling. (Oh yes we did…)

Peanut Butter Cookie Dough
Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, unwrapped (duh)
1/2 C semisweet chocolate chips
2 tsp. shortening
Heat oven to 350. Spray 48 mini muffin cups with cooking spray. Shape dough into 1-inch balls; place in muffin cups. Press 1 peanut butter cup into each ball.
Bake 13 to 18 minutes or until dough is set and golden brown around edges of candy. Cool 5 minutes; remove from pan. Cool completely, about 30 minutes.
In a small microwavable bowl, microwave chocolate chips and shortening on High 45 to 60 seconds, stirring once halfway through microwaving, until melted. If necessary, continue to microwave on High in 15-second increments, stirring until smooth. Drizzle glaze evenly onto cooled cookies.
The original recipe is from Pillsbury, but I modified it a little to make it even easier. You can use any peanut butter cookie dough.
Yum!
Thanks again for a great night Catherine!
