Under the Banner of Heaven: A Story of Violent Faith by Jon Krakauer
Oh My God this book is never ending!! No matter how much I read, I feel like I don’t make any progress. I’m half way through and I think it took me 6 months to get to this point. I’ll finish it, I have no doubt, but Jesus. I know more about Mormon Fundamentalists than I ever wanted to know. I’m fairly certain there was no editing done because absolutely NO DETAIL IS LEFT OUT. It’s all good stuff, and interesting, but just too. many. words.

I can’t remember how this movie ended up on my Netflix list, but don’t you love those surprises? Um, ok, a Japanese subtitled lesbian love story? Right…
But, wherever the recommendation came from, I’m glad it did, it was a very, very sweet movie and not at all anything that you might expect. If you are looking for something different (!) then this is a good choice. Heh.
