Little Bee by Chris Cleave
So. I still can’t decide if I love this book or hate it. Most of the decisions made by some of the main characters made me mad as I’m literally saying out loud, “What the hell are you thinking?! Are you kidding me???” Which makes me think the book was written with the express intention that it will be made into a feature film … and oh look at that … currently in production now. But it was thought-provoking, and gut-wrenching, and does bring light to things that exist outside of my safe home. I think I have to be ok that I did love it and I did hate it.
