The Dogs of Babel by Carolyn Parkhurst
Hmmm… this was an interesting one. When I started reading I was captivated and certain I would thoroughly enjoy this book start to finish. I loved the quirkiness and elements of psychological mystery. But… (you knew it was coming) somewhere along the way I started liking it less and less and by the time it was finished I really couldn’t decide if I liked it at all or not. It’s a different story than you’ve read before with a universal theme. If you have read it yourself I’d love to hear your thoughts.
