The Land of Painted Caves by Jean M. Auel
The sixth book in the series finally arrived after a long wait for fans. This is the series of books where I first discovered the name Ayla. I was happy to read another chapter in the life of these characters that I had grown up with but it was not the most exciting book of the series. It was enjoyable enough but it took me a while to finish it because I wasn’t in the mood to devour it like the previous ones.
