The Edge of the Sky by Drusilla Campbell
Tedious and too emotional (when a prominent theme is avoidance of emotions). The central characters are two young female teenagers and a mother struggling to hold it all together – if I’m honest, with a soon-to-be-teen myself, I just didn’t want to read about the challenges I may face. (Not ready!) Overall… exhausting.
