Cooking: Slow Cooker Pot Roast

16 Oct

This recipe is a combination of two recipes that looked good to me:
The Best Pot Roast Ever from Get Rich Slowly
Slow Cooker Savory Pot Roast from Campbell’s Kitchen

3-4 pounds beef roast (top chuck, chuck shoulder, or rump round)
1 package Lipton’s dry onion soup mix
1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
Several carrots, peeled, chopped into 2-inch pieces

Put all of the above into a slow cooker and cook on high or low, depending on how much time you have. Make a potato dish on the side serve with it. This is going to be my pot roast recipe from now on. Done!

Ooooh wow, slow cooked beef is simply the best – if you get a nice cut from a good cow.
