Hi I just typed in my upcoming baby's name into google images and stumbled across your blog. I am so freaked out. Our kids names (no they are not born yet) are Ayla for girl and Evren for boy and have been decided for about 3 years.

We are having a boy and Evren Patrick McCarthy will be born in 2.09. I have never run across these names alone or in tandem. WOW.

We live on Marthas Vineyard in Ma, so the names wont spread too far! Just wanted to share the coincidence.

Any "weird" interpretations you have experienced with an Evren or Ayla? What are your nicknames or have you avoided? (we are thinking Ren vs. Ev)

Take care. Your kids are gorgeous. Catherine
